“ 5 stars to me means the best-of-the-best among other characterizations. I'm not sure where you are eating but? For sure, the Riverside Cafe in Wareham puts-out a solid breakfast experience. This is a quaint and friendly local Cafe which caters to societal, local, and regional eating habits. My case-in-point can be found in their table condiments. (Picture included) This is a comfy enough restaurant which surrounds you in what could be described as your grandmother's over exuberant omage to candyland. As cited in many other reviews; the service and staff are a very friendly and talkative lot/bunch. We were engaged in a conversation regarding a shared affinity for crime detctive television. The food was prepared quickly and to order, and in fairness, the crowd was light. The omelettes were presented very well and the taste was good and served appropriately warm, but would require some seasoning to enhance the flavors. The coffee was of mid-range quality, but certainly better than Farmer Bros. The [side] of beacon was large, tasty, and crispy. Their popular cinnamon toast is good but comes with a layer of sugar on the crust which for me is not preferred. Overall, the rating should be in the range of 4.1-4.3 stars. Thanks and enjoy! ”
“ The food is very good here, cooked to order nice hot and fresh. The figgy pudding was a holiday appetizer served before the breakfast entrée so yummy! Friendly staff and free refills on coffee. Julie is the owner and a fantastic cook. ”
“ The food here is always excellent. I stop by any time I am in the Cape. The cozy atmosphere and the quality food always hits the spot. Despite staffing issues affecting many local restaurant, Riverside has streamlined their process to cut down on wait time. Our food came way sooner than expected. Everyone was friendly, and I plan to keep coming back when I am on vacation. ”
“ Just a note cash only.you order before you seat but if unsure of what you want you can seat and then go up to order. Food came out quickly. It looked amazing and tasted just as good. The coffee and tea were both hot and delicious. They came by for refills. I had the Asiago veggie sandwich with a side of fruit and my friend had Avocado toast with poached eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful ”
“ Good was very good. Only thing I didn't like, you had to order at the counter, from a menu painted on the wall. Other then that the good was good, service was good. Good was fresh and served timely ”
“ Nailed it! From the delicious food to the friendly service and charming New England atmosphere, this place couldn't be beat. Did I mention the food? Spectacular! It turns out the owner is the chef! This hidden gem was the perfect detour on my Cape Cod trip, and I can't wait to return. ”
“ Can't believe I haven't put a review on this place before. I've been going here for years, and this is my go-to recommended spot to ANYONE who's in town. Every item on the menu is delicious, and I've tasted around. Their biscuits and gravy are second to none. I really enjoy this place and the people who run it are always happy to see you. Chuck and Claudia always make an effort to greet you as soon as you walk in. ”
